The site you're reading is hand-written HTML and a single CSS file. No framework, no JS, no build step. Total page weight is roughly 30 KB plus images.
frostvex pool, of course. Posts are hand-edited HTML; I considered a static site generator and decided against it.-apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, …). Honest about being content, doesn't try to be branded.Dark navy (#0c1018) base with a single teal accent (#5eead4). The "frost" in the name suggested cool tones; the accent is just bright enough to draw attention without being neon. Accessibility: contrast ratios on body text are above 8:1 against background.
Hero illustrations and blog post headers are rendered via FLUX.1 [pro] and FLUX.1 [schnell] from Black Forest Labs (via fal.ai). Terminal screenshots are programmatically generated with Pillow + Menlo. The snowflake mark and feature icons are hand-authored SVG.
None. Files live on disk; nginx -s reload is the deploy step. The site is a flat tree under /srv/frostvex-site/.
No JavaScript. No cookies. No analytics. The webserver writes minimal access logs (timestamp, status, path) and rotates them every 10 MB. Logs are not shared.

This site looks the way it does because of a handful of others I admire — fly.io's old design language, burntsushi.net, drewdevault.com. None of them are mine; the influence shows.
